Join us for an immersive three-day workshop in Séranon from September 5-7. You'll learn the art of building a skep, a traditional beehive made from straw. Originating from ancient beekeeping practices, skeps have been used for centuries across various cultures as a natural nest for bees, offering a unique and sustainable approach to beekeeping. As we weave the straw into the skep, we create a beautiful spiral that symbolizes the journey of life, transformation, and spiritual growth, representing the interconnectedness of all living beings and the cyclical nature of existence.

• Customize your creation: You have the option to activate your beehive for bees or create it as a decorative piece for your space, allowing you to choose how you want to incorporate this sacred art into your life.

• Workshops by demand: Want to bring the magic to your own space? We offer personalized workshops in your garden, tailored to your needs and interests, allowing you to experience the art of skep making in a familiar environment.

• Dates: September 5th, 6th, and 7th

• Time: 10:00 to 16:00 daily

• Duration: 3 days

• Materials: Materials for the communal skep are included. If you wish to build your own skep, there's an additional cost of +50 euros for materials

• Meals: Lunch and tea are included.

Requirements for participation

• No experience required! All skill levels are welcome, including families with children. We believe that all of us are artists, and we'll provide guidance to help you express your creativity as you craft your skep.

• What to bring: Work gloves, comfortable clothing, and a water bottle.
